When this feature is turned on and a customer is enrolled into Verified by Visa or MasterCard SecureCode, they will be prompted to enter their special password and the system will immediately move to the next screen. If they are not enrolled, this prompt will be skipped. Best of all, substantial protection is still provided to you as a merchant even if the cardholder is not enrolled!
